[Targeting pigments missed by Laser Toning] Alex Toning
Even after multiple laser toning sessions, were you still bothered by remaining blemishes and pigmentation? Alex Toning uses a 755nm Alexandrite wavelength, which has high melanin reactivity, to more clearly target superficial pigments, blemishes, and dull skin tone that were difficult to address with traditional laser toning alone. Additionally, fine facial hairs are immediately tidied, making makeup apply better and skin texture appear smoother. Stubborn pigments become clearer, fine hairs are lightly refined, and skin tone becomes brighter. Resolve your pigmentation concerns that traditional toning missed with Keuthan Clinic's Alex Toning. ※VAT separate ※Price policy period: 2026.02.01 ~ ※Price policy対象: Patients visiting our clinic

Treatment Details

What is Alextoning?
Alextoning is
a treatment that uses the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength, which has a high absorption rate in melanin,
a low-energy pigment toning.
Traditional laser toning primarily uses the 1064nm wavelength,
which causes relatively less irritation and is suitable for repeated treatments,
but it may require many sessions
or improvement in superficial pigmentation may feel slow.
In contrast, Alextoning
utilizes the 755nm wavelength, which has high melanin reactivity,
like sunspots, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and dull tones,
it more clearly targets pigments located closer to the skin's surface.
It is especially recommended for those who have consistently received laser toning but
still have remaining pigmentation,
or whose skin tone still appears dull.
Benefits of Alextoning
It targets those stubborn pigments that weren't adequately addressed by traditional laser toning
once again with the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength.
Additionally, during the procedure, fine facial vellus hair is also tidied up,
making the skin texture appear smoother,
and makeup applies better as an additional benefit.
In short, Kkeuthan Clinic's Alextoning is
primarily for pigment toning,
with fine vellus hair removal as an added bonus.
You can understand it this way.
Kkeuthan Clinic's Alextoning: What makes it special?
Kkeuthan Clinic's Alextoning
is not just a basic toning that passes the laser over the entire face once.
We check your previous toning response, type of pigment, depth of pigment, skin tone, and even vellus hair distribution,
and adjust the output and irradiation method to suit your specific skin condition.
Pigments that were not sufficiently improved with previous toning are targeted more clearly,
dull tones become brighter,
and fine vellus hairs are gently tidied,
with consideration for both skin tone and texture during the treatment.
1. Targeting insufficient pigmentation from traditional laser toning once more
Even after multiple laser toning sessions,
sunspots may remain faintly,
or the skin tone may still appear dull.
In such cases, rather than repeating the same wavelength,
we customize the treatment according to the location and characteristics of the pigment.
It may be necessary to approach with a different wavelength.
Alex Toning uses a 755nm wavelength, which has high melanin reactivity,
to address what was lacking with conventional 1064nm toning alone,
targeting superficial pigmentation, blemishes, freckles, and hyperpigmentation once more.
2. Focused Melanin Targeting with 755nm Alexandrite Wavelength
Alex Toning's 755nm wavelength
has the characteristic of reacting well to melanin.
It clearly targets pigments close to the skin surface,
helping to refine dull and cluttered-looking skin tones
to be clearer and cleaner.
If your skin has a mix of melasma, blemishes, freckles, and hyperpigmentation,
rather than repeatedly using just one type of toning,
choosing the right wavelength for your skin condition is crucial.
3. Smooth Skin Texture by Refining Fine Hairs
Fine facial hairs can
make makeup look cakey,
make skin tone appear dull,
and make skin texture look uneven.
During the process of targeting pigments with Alex Toning,
fine hairs on the facial surface are also refined,
resulting in the advantage of smoother-looking skin immediately after treatment.
Before an important event,
when you want to refine not only blemishes and skin tone
but also makeup adherence.
4. Low-Power Delicate Toning Customized for Skin Tone and Pigmentation Status
The more reactive a laser is to melanin,
the greater the risk of redness, stinging, and hyperpigmentation
if irradiated too strongly without discretion.
Kkeutan Clinic determines skin tone, pigment depth, sensitivity, and presence of redness, then
customizes the irradiation for each client.
While targeting pigments more effectively,
we precisely adjust the output, irradiation speed, and number of passes
to minimize skin irritation.
5. Combined Toning Addressing Pigmentation, Tone, and Texture
The reason skin might look cluttered
is not necessarily due to a single blemish.
Blemishes, freckles, hyperpigmentation, dull tone, fine hairs, and skin texture can combine
to make the overall appearance dark and rough.
Alex Toning focuses on pigmentation but also
considers skin tone, fine hairs, and skin texture.
Therefore, beyond general pigment removal,
we manage your entire skin to look clearer and smoother.

A Sincere Message from the Director
"If you've received pigmentation treatment for a long time but your skin still looks dull, instead of repeating the same wavelength, a flexible approach is needed to change the wavelength according to the nature of the pigmentation."
In our clinic, we often meet patients who have consistently received traditional laser toning dozens of times, yet their superficial blemishes or freckles remain, and their complexion still looks dull. This is often because pigmentation scattered close to the skin's surface is difficult to treat effectively with only the 1064nm wavelength, which targets deeper layers.
Kkeuthan Clinic's Alex Toning uses a 755nm Alexandrite wavelength, which has excellent reactivity to melanin, to more clearly target superficial pigmentation that traditional toning may have missed. Through precise Mark-Vu diagnosis, we carefully assess skin sensitivity and the presence of melasma, then meticulously apply the laser with low, non-irritating output. It also tidies up fine facial hairs, resulting in a smooth skin texture immediately after treatment. We are dedicated to helping you achieve clearer skin by erasing blemishes and enhancing skin texture, without superficial treatments.
Post-Treatment Precautions
Temporary redness, warmth, and stinging may occur after treatment.
On the day of the treatment, please avoid saunas, jjimjilbangs (Korean bathhouses), strenuous exercise, and alcohol consumption.
Your skin may become dry, so please apply plenty of moisturizer.
Sun exposure after pigmentation treatment can cause hyperpigmentation, so please apply sunscreen thoroughly.
When going out, reapply sunscreen every 3-4 hours.
Even if dead skin cells appear after treatment, do not forcibly rub or scrub them.
It is advisable to avoid irritating products such as retinol, peeling agents, and high-concentration Vitamin C for several days.
After treatment, fine facial hairs may appear temporarily tidied, but this is not the same as semi-permanent hair removal.
If you desire semi-permanent reduction of fine facial hair, we recommend separate facial vellus hair laser removal.
Skin with melasma may temporarily darken due to irritation.
Q&A
Q. What is the difference between traditional 1064nm laser toning and Alex Toning?
A. While the 1064nm wavelength used in traditional laser toning is suitable for reaching the dermis to manage deep pigmentation and overall skin tone, Alex Toning's 755nm Alexandrite wavelength has a much higher absorption rate for melanin, allowing it to more clearly target and remove blemishes, freckles, and light hyperpigmentation located close to the skin's surface.
Q. It's said that fine hairs are tidied, but does this provide permanent hair removal?
A. Alex Toning is a low-output toning treatment primarily focused on pigmentation. While the process of reacting with melanin lightly tidies up fine facial hairs, resulting in smoother skin texture and better makeup application as an added benefit, it is not the same as semi-permanent hair removal that completely destroys hair follicles. If you desire permanent reduction of fine facial hair, we recommend combining it with separate facial vellus hair laser removal.
Q. If melanin reactivity is high, doesn't it cause more skin irritation?
A. With wavelengths that have a strong melanin reaction, performing the treatment with indiscriminately high output can cause redness or irritation. At Kkeuthan Clinic, prior to treatment, we confirm skin tone, pigmentation depth, sensitivity, and the presence of redness or melasma through Mark-Vu diagnosis. We then adjust the output and speed using a delicate, low-output irradiation method that minimizes skin irritation, ensuring you can receive treatment safely.
Q. Is this a suitable treatment to receive before an important event?
A. Yes, it is very suitable. Not only does it brighten superficial pigmentation and dull skin tone, but it also tidies up fine facial hairs that can make makeup look uneven. Therefore, it is a popular treatment for improving foundation adherence and achieving smooth skin texture before important events such as weddings, photoshoots, or interviews.
